"Why did we stop?" I asked him when he suddenly pulled at the side of the road, near a convenience store.
"I'm going to buy as some food and drinks."
I laughed. "Wow. You are so prepared."
He scratched his head. "Really prepared, Ma'am." He opened the driver's side and hopped out of the truck.
Smiling, I shook my head. "Can I go with you?" I called out as he rounded the truck.
"No. Just stay there. I won't be long." He gave me a salute before heading to the entrance and walked into the store.
The smile just would not leave my face. I leaned my back on my seat and sighed happily. I closed my eyes and waited for him. I wondered where he would be taking me. It was pretty obvious that we he would not take me to some fancy restaurant because he would buy food and drinks. I loved th
