Jordan was in the midst of a phone call with the Alpha of one of his neighbouring packs when he felt his wolf becoming restless. Not just restless from boredom or wanting to go for a run but rather an uneasy feeling that had him glancing at the time and noticing just how late it was. He frowned. He'd been shut up in his study for the majority of the day. Riley must be incredibly upset with him for abandoning her for such a long period of time. Hell a lot of the time in the last week if he was being honest with himself.
He hastily ended the call and mind-linked Christopher who came in with a puzzled look on his face.
"No one seems to have seen Riley in the house for the last few hours. But patrol did say she was outside when they spotted her so it's possible that she lost track of time
