Jordan was losing the battle, not because he wasn't strong enough but because Riley was in the midst of it all and he didn't want her accidentally hurt. He was being extra cautious and that was causing him to lose focus, Melissa's wolf easily getting in some good swipes and injuring him while he spotted out of the corner of the eye, Sandra's small runt of a wolf approaching Riley snarling, his attention on that which gave Melissa an opening that she took.
She flung him into the window, Jordan hitting it and bouncing off as it cracked then broke, raining shards of glass on him as he painfully got to his feet, Riley's eyes widened in horror, even as Sandra put her paws on Riley's knees leaned in towards her face with a threatening growl. He wasn't going to make it in time, it was all over.
