Riley blinked at Dr Lyons. Had she just heard him correctly? Had he just said she was pregnant? She felt excitement growing inside her. She was having a baby! Going to be a mother!
"I'm pregnant" she breathed, one hand going to her stomach protectively, her eyes shooting to Dr Lyon's who was overjoyed for her and Jordan. What wonderful news.
"It explains everything" he said firmly "the nausea is morning sickness and generally in the first trimester it can be quite tiring and mistaken for a stomach bug. With luck the nausea will pass once you hit the second trimester and the morning sickness will go away but in some instances it doesn't. You will also find you have a sensitivity to certain smells that may make you sick."
Riley was nodding and taking everything in, a huge smile spreading
