I'm on my way to pick up Maria. She's waiting for me at the mall, where she's choosing things for the wedding. I didn't participate much in the preparations with Annie, because I don't really like those kinds of things, but she had a lot of help, so I'll try to be more present this time. I park and walk to where she told me she would be waiting. Right at the entrance of a jewelry store.
When she sees me approaching, she waves her hand. I give her a smile and walk up to her.
"Hi, love. So glad you made it. Come on, I already picked out some rings, but I want your opinion." The clerk takes out a tray and brings some pre-selected samples. They're pretty. While she was talking to the young man, I watched her. She's so excited about the wedding, and I want to be a little bit excited too
