Annie I feel incredibly nervous and can't stop pacing around the house. Dad is sitting on the sofa, pretending to read, but I know he's watching me. I turn to look at him, and he's smiling. His gaze softens my heart. He's such a handsome man. I love him so much. "Why are you smiling, Grandpa?" I feign a baby voice, and he bursts out laughing. He motions for me to sit beside him. "I smile because I look at you and can't believe my beautiful daughter is about to become a mother soon. It feels like just yesterday I was holding you in my arms, newly born, premature.
