Eira waited outside of the dining hall for her husband and brothers. She was worried about Hildun and hoped for his return with the group. She knew her brothers and knowing how her husband was angry about finding out about the situation between her and Hildun, she knew they had him do something.
“What are you doing out here?” Ana asked Eira as her and Bergvid approached the young lady.
“I’m waiting for them to return.” Eira said, turning to the couple. “They’ve been gone for hours and… I’m sorry… I’m worried about Hildun, that’s all.”
Bergvid smiled at Eira.
“Eira, I thank you for your concern for my son,” Bergvid said. “However, Hildun knew better than to place his hands on you.”
“I feel really bad and I shouldn’t have allowed it to happen.” Eira said.
