“I’m not sure,” I tell him with a sigh as I pour more into my glass. “The only things we KNOW are that Cora definitely has a wolf and that Andrew definitely has magic.”
“Cora also has magic,” Dad tells me. “We’ve seen it. Remember their birthday and the candles?”
I shake my head. “They were next to each other. It could have been Andrew. We always assumed it was Cora because Lily told us men couldn’t have magic.”
“Which is a lie,” Calvin adds.
“You know that for a fact?” I ask him.
He nods. “I’m sure I’ve read about male witches in books. There were so many, and I can’t be sure which one, but if you know Andrew has it, then you know it’s a lie.”
