“Alright, I’ll stay,” Julian said. “Let’s put you to bed.” Winter shook her head and tightened her hold around him. “I don’t wanna sleep.” “What do you want to do?” he asked. Winter craned her neck and brushed her lips against his jaw. It was a feathery touch, but the caress of her warm breath on his skin was more than enough to double his heart rate. He took a deep breath and somehow managed to catch a hint of her sweet scent beneath the alcohol. “Kiss me,” she whispered against his cheek. He swallowed. “Winter, I don’t think…you are drunk.” She pouted, her eyes turning sad. “You don’t want to?” “No, that’s not what I meant,” he said hurriedly. “Give me a kiss, then. Just one kiss,” she pleaded. Julian kissed her on the lips softly. She smiled against his lips and giggled happily
