“Julian?” Winter whispered. What was he doing there? Before she could react any further, he marched forward and reached for her arm. Wesley said something, but she could not hear what it was as Julian pulled her from her chair. His face was blank, but she could see he was seething below the surface. She barely managed to grab her bag as he pulled her away from the table. “What do you think you are doing?” she demanded as he dragged her from the terrace and towards the exit. “Me?” Julian replied harshly as they walked down the hallway towards the elevators. “Why didn’t you pick up my calls?” “Why would I?” Winter snapped, trying to release her arm from his grip when they got to the elevator. Julian punched the button and waited. A couple of people walked through the hallway, so Winter
