Winter turned and walked towards the door. She needed to get away from him.
“Where are you going?” Julian asked, but she ignored him and continued along.
She opened the door and walked into the hallway, leaving him alone in the room. As soon as Winter shut the door behind her, she noticed Alpha Wesley standing outside.
“Oh, hi. There you are,” he said, sounding surprised. He acted as if he had just been passing by, when in reality, he had been eavesdropping. He had been unable to sit back after what happened at the restaurant. After seeing how angry Julian was, he became worried about Winter.
