“Well, I’m glad you think I’m so capable,” he said, taking a step closer to her. He lifted his hand and placed it on her shoulder, gently. “I think you are too. We’ve known each other for only a short time, but I can already tell you are going to become a well-known Luna.”
Winter laughed and shook her head. “I’m not so sure about that.” She did not care about being well-known. All she wanted was to do her best for her pack. And that meant not letting her personal drama with Julian get in the way of her duties.
