After Wesley left the venue where the press conference had been held, he went back to the hotel he was staying at.
He could not help thinking about Winter all along. He had been attracted to many women before, but never like this. He had never wanted anyone as much as he wanted her. He could not resist her, or forget about her, even when she told him that she did not want him.
That too was new for him, at least since he became the Alpha of his pack. He had never been rejected by a woman before. He also never had to do anything to get one–they readily threw themselves at him.
This was the first time he had ever had to put any effort towards getting a woman’s attention, and clearly, he was screwing it up. He regretted ever releasing those photos and the video.
