Nora looked at herself in the mirror after putting on the dress she picked out for the wedding. It was an off the shoulder silk dress with purple flowers in the skirt. Her hair was tied in a messy bun with loose strands of hair framing the sides of her face. Her mom helped her put on some eye makeup to make her big brown eyes pop.
"You look amazing, honey," her mom said.
Old Nora would've disagreed. But the new Nora took a second look in the mirror. She couldn't wait for James to see her. Even though she acted embarrassed when he looked at her with his heated gaze, she secretly enjoyed it.
