BLAZE'S POV

I push the pedal to the floor of my car, my hand is gripping the steering wheel tight and there isn't one thing I won't do to save her.
I stare at my GPS, knowing that I'm only half an hour out, and that's when I notice the truck pulling a car onto its trailer.
With one quick glance, my heart sinks and I lift my foot off the gas, hitting the brakes as I swerve out to the side of the road.
My car comes to a sudden halt, and I unclasp my seatbelt and practically jump out of the car.
"Hey!" I throw my hands in the air to get the truck driver's attention, and when that doesn't work, I let out a deep, loud growl that makes the birds fly out of the trees.
They chirp as they fly away, and I smirk as the truck's brake lights go on, and the truck stops.
