The thing about being a writer is you love all of your characters equally, no matter how terrible they are. Everly's arc ended up being different from what it originally was because a friend read it and kept on saying she was "naive" and I was like, wait, that is not what I want for her. And I realized she wasn't fleshed out. She didn't have enough motivation, and so I changed her story and that's how we ended up here where she is the little trouble maker she is.
But things get difficult when it comes to the male leads because I just want everyone to be happy, god damn it. But obviously we can't have everyone end up with Rose because that's not the type of book that I'm writing.
So, I'm genuinely curious.
