We spend two days preparing for our trip while also meeting with King Alpha Cyrus and a few other officials to present our findings on the Clear Pond pack. They decide to lend their assistance to find Damon, Chloe and her family, but there is not much more they can do at the present. They are already helping to track down the money, so Killian explains to me that the next steps in the process tend to be tedious and slow. In the back of my mind, I'm thinking that I'm grateful that I'm not really needed for this part.
This time we drive to visit Isla and her mate, Owen since they don't live in a pack as far as Clear Pond. They are about a two-hour drive away and while we would love to run the distance, we plan on staying a few days and need some clothes.
