"Hey Mini," Killian calls to the little girl. "Come here so I can introduce you to Josephine."
I can tell Isla is not fully comfortable with the situation yet but to be fair she still has no clue what is happening. Mini runs over and stops just in front of me.
"This is Josephine," Killian says.
I kneel down to her level, "Josephine is so long, you can call me Jo."
"Hi Jo," she says excitedly, "Mini is short for Wilhemina. My name is too long too, I can never spell it right at school and all the other kids have shorter names they can spell. Also every one says I am a mini version of my mama."
Killian then asks, "Are you okay to watch her while I talk to Isla?"
I nod and they leave the room.
"You know, I have a trick I can teach you for remembering how to spell your long name," I say
