** Paige’s POV **
Everyone around me seems to relax at Lucas’ words, but I know the truth. I was there and saw it all in real time.
“So it’s all just a silly misunderstanding,” Sandra says, laughing it off.
“See? My brother’s not like those other trash men out there,” Maggie smirks, glancing at her mate, Blake.
I’d been so caught up in what was happening here I hadn’t even noticed Blake come out of the house with his daughter, Chloe. He crouches in front of Lucas and asks to see the photos. Lucas hands them over reluctantly, and Blake flips through them.
“These surveillance images are crystal clear. I’m almost sure someone has digitally enhanced them, unless you have some fancy CCTV system in your pack I’m unaware of,” Blake comments.
