IT WAS Sianna’s first day in Eliezer’s mansion. She didn’t even go down for breakfast—she’d overslept a little, waking closer to noon. She’d thought she’d be restless, but the soft bed in the guest room had lulled her into a surprisingly deep sleep. It was a different feeling, having someone take care of her meals.
