"No... Stop....noooo", I woke up in a panic, my eyes darting around in the dark for any danger, for him. My shoulders shook as fear gripped my heart. I can't see anything in the dark and not knowing if he's here or not is scaring me more.
"Lisa", I jumped a few feet away when a hand landed on my shoulder, a scream tore through my throat.
"Hey, baby it's me", the lights turned on and Leo came into my view. He gripped my hand and pull me to him, embossing me with care.
"Shhhh, love. I got you", he whispered as he gently sways my body back and forth, just like a mother cradles her newborns.
