I felt sparks in my arms as I opened my eyes, clenching my head in pain.
"Imelda!" Aiden's voice filled my ears.
"My head is paining," I said as he frowned and nodded.
He quickly walked to the table on the other side and took something with a glass of water before walking to me.
"The doctor said you may experience headaches when you wake up. Eat this. You will feel better." he said as he handed me a tablet.
"Thank you" I mumbled before taking the medicine.
He sat back on the chair and I knew he was watching me.
"What happened?" I asked as he sighed.
"When I came back after a bath I saw you lying on the bed. I thought you fell asleep again. After I dressed, I was going to put you properly on bed, when I felt your burning fever. I tried to wake you up but you didn't
