The signal on Roy's computer sent him down a path into the woods, or at least it looked like a forest that surrounded the palace. It was a section of the city that had overgrown with trees, vines, and bushes, much more than the rest of the community. The further down the path he went, the fuller the presence of life was. It's like my Aunt's house in Tucson when one of the underground pipes sprung a leak, and the grass got really tall and green in just one spot in the yard, he thought to himself; it became necessary to pull out his 12-inch blade to clear some vines out of his way.
