Deb rolled over onto Bruce's chest as the alarm clock chimed and she didn't want to get up. She had not intended to have Bruce spend the entire night with her, but a part of her was glad he had. She had forgotten how nice it was to wake up in the arms of a strong, warm lover. Yet, she still didn't want to call Bruce her boyfriend. They were just friends, and that was good enough for them. At least that was what she told herself. Suddenly the battle alarm sounded. Bruce went from sound sleep to out of the bed, pulling on his pants, grabbing his boots and shirt, kissing Deb and out the door before she could exhale.
