Juan and his team had investigated three trading ports with very little intelligence to show for their efforts. The only lead they had was a rumor of some unusual ships at the Allegeroplen port of Piraona; a system near the edge of former Serkin space and currently not claimed by any intergalactic coalition. Juan contacted Jokelen, a merchant he knew there who used to sell supplies, and occasionally information, to the Alliance for the right price. They arranged to meet at a café just outside the capital city. After the previous few days of black markets and back alley merchants it was going to be a break to meet with someone whom they knew, and in a place, one didn't need an antiviral shot to walk into. The danger was so minimal he even decided to allow PTE Beels to tag along.
