Dobson looked around the bridge and felt lost, even though he refused to show it. It had been over five hours since they launched the rescue shuttle to track down the captain and the other two pilots. He gave clear orders to the shuttle pilot to go to the rendezvous point, make a one light year sweep for the captain and then return. The entire mission shouldn't have taken more than 30 minutes. After an hour he ordered another ship readied to go out, but other than the fighters, no one left was ready to fly solo; they only had the troop transport and one qualified pilot for that. The transport still needed repairs done. Zamora and Ryan jumped on it, but it would still take five to eight hours to get it flight ready.
