With each tick of the clock I wanted her heart to stop, just stop, to watch her eyes become glossy and vacant. The blood of my last victim had begun to dry, more brownish than scarlet. I was no longer human, I had not been human in a long time indeed. Every choice had lead me here, to the side of the demons.
