CONNOR Being extremely happy and devastated at the same time was very, very tiring. Seeing my son sick and suffering, hearing him cry and call out to Lily and me in fear, was without a doubt one of the worst experiences of my life: I'd felt like dying when the doctors ordered us to leave his bedside, when I had to leave my little boy alone.
