LILY The snow was cold under my feet as I slowly undressed behind the trees. Connor was close by, hiding behind a different tree: I’d noticed more than a few long glances as he tried to peek, and each time, my face had reddened like a tomato. Which didn’t really make any sense, considering why I’d offered and planned that run, and considering how close we’d been to mating in the last few days.
