“Have you seen Danny, I’m looking for her but she is not in the room” Ely’s voice came out from the door, I was already in Pedro’s bathroom just in case the intruder wanted to come in the room, my love life with Pedro was somehow funny but I loved the fact that he would do anything for me, I was staying at their place as their own child and not only that but they were paying for my school fees as well, such loving people and there was my uncle, very arrogant and full of jealousy

I was already thinking about Pedro’s idea of getting a tattoo, I mean it had never crossed my mind even for a second but with Pedro, I was willing to do anything, love is actually blind and let me tell you one thing, love had totally blinded me, I was deep in love and something funny, if someone asked me what love was , I don’t think I would be able to answer them since I was still, young, dumb and broke, but what I knew is that I loved Pedro

“No I haven’t seen her, why don’t you check for her in garden maybe she might be there, I left her in the room, and she was working on her assignment” Pedro said and I found myself smiling internally at how serious he could be when lying, that was my guy

“Okay, if you see her, please tell her I want to, I have something I want to share with her” she said and Pedro just nodded and closed the door before he came back to the room and sat on his bed, I was wearing one of his shirts which made me look so funnily

“You know you wearing my shirt makes you look so damn sexy and I just want to rip off and devour on that sexy body of yours” he said and kissed me slightly on my lips before he sat next to me

“You know you talking dirty don’t suit you, so what about we take shower and head out? Ely must be worried about me and your mom will be here looking for me” I said and he agreed with me, we went straight to the shower, I had never imagined Pedro and I taking a shower together, it was full of fun that I didn’t expect, he chose one of his sweatpants and put the other ones in the laundry bucket

“I think you should leave before they start looking all over for you” He said and I agreed, I gave him a quick kiss before I stood up and headed for the door, I cross checked if there was someone in the corridors but there was none, I walked quickly to my room and when I opened the door, Elena was on the couch doing her assignment, she raised her eyes up and gave me the ‘where are you coming from?’ look and I just walked in and sat beside her and inhaled deeply before I could finally speak, I knew she was going to ask me where I was coming from

“Eh do you mind telling where you have been all this time? I have been looking for you every where” she said while giving me a hard stare with a questioning glance

“Okay mom, I was around, did you ask Ely where I was?” I asked as I picked my phone from the night stand and made myself comfortable on the bed

“Well I would have if she was there in the living room, she went out with Mrs. Montero, or you didn’t know that? Ooh that reminds me if you were outside in the garden, you would have known, so where exactly have you been?” she asked while squinting her eyes at me

“Okay mom” I said in surrender and she smiled wickedly at me, she always had a way of getting back at me, typical Elena. “Well, I was just around, you didn’t check well enough” I said and she chuckled before she finally spoke

“Don’t take for a fool, I checked every room, I even talked to Pedro and he said he hasn’t seen you or maybe… let me hope it is not what I’m thinking?” he said looking at me and I face palmed myself

“Well okay, I’m just going to tell you what happened private investigator, I was with Pedro” I said and she gave me a ‘I knew it’ look

“I knew it and from the way Pedro was looking uneasy I knew he was hiding something from me and fortunately that someone turned out to be you, so tell me, what happened? What were guys doing?” she asked and I gave her bored look before I finally looked up

“Really Ely, why should I tell you what happened and what we did? I guess you had something to tell me, why don’t you go ahead then, I’m all ears” I said and she just looked at me before she went back to her book

‘”Okay, whatever, our plan went through” she said and I felt like my heart was finally feeling at peace

“Wow that I great news I guess, that is great enough to jumpstart my day although it is night time already, so about the wicked uncle of mine, what is going to happen to him?”

“Well there is an arrest order from the DCI and a prize for whoever will lead the police to him, he is wanted by the police and I think that serves him right, I can’t wait for his ass to be taken to course and jailed for the murder he has done” she said and I couldn’t agree less with her, she was right my wicked uncle deserved nothing but death, he had done a lot

“Serves him rig ht, where is Mr. Davidson?” I asked because I hadn’t seen him since Elena came home

“Oh forgot to tell you, he went to pick up Talia and Mrs. Montero

“Oh they should be on their way soon, I’m sure you are done with your assignment, why don’t we go downstairs and grab something, I’m famishing” I said and she gave me a smile before she closed her book and picked hr phone before she followed me outside

We went direct to the kitchen, dinner was still being prepared so we had to wait, I went to the fridge and poured myself glass of juice and poured some for Elena, I found her watching a certain evening show on TV and joined her, we still chatting and making stories when finally Pedro joined us

“And do you know I have a case with you?” Ely asked Pedro and he just looked at her blankly, it was like he didn’t even know what Elena was talking about

“Hmm… What do you mean by that? I’m I in trouble?” He asked

“Hmm… yeah in trouble for lying to me”

“Ha-ha I don’t remember you and I being in any agreement with you whatsoever” he said and I just smiled as I looked at how the two were getting along, I really loved their bond, they had gotten so close and that was a good sign, the two were going to make such a beautiful pair of brother and sister

“Well I think I should just remind you then, forgetful i***t, why did you lie to me about Danny?” she asked her hands akimbo and I couldn’t help but laugh at how mischievous Elena could get

“I think she is here with you, why don’t you ask her yourself, I’m not her personal body guard” he said and sipped on his juice with smirk on his face and I couldn’t help it, Pedro was always funny but I never know he could be so funny and cheeky at the same time

“i***t, why are so cunning anyway? Well in that case I’m going to ask for a favor from you and its not just favor but a prize you have to pay for lying to me”

“I knew you were going to say that , just say what you want and stop using my girlfriend as an excuse, okay sis what is it?” He asked and Elena smirked

“Lunch bill on you for the whole week, at least I got to save my money for something else, I want to buy something and I can’t if some people won’t buy m lunch, so your bill brother”

“I hate you sister” he said and Elena smiled

“Well I love you so much dear brother” she replied

“Aren’t the two of you just cute when you argue, I might confess I love how the two of you handle yourselves, but then we don’t have the whole day for you guys, why don’t you wake your asses up, let us go and help Talia, they are outside and needs hand” I said and stood up from the couch and went out
