I dashed toward the forest, shedding my clothes as I went. The sounds of battle echoed ahead, urging me to sprint faster in that direction. By the time I reached the scene, the clash was already in full swing. Without a moment's hesitation, I leaped right into the chaos, ready to confront the scrappy mongrels attacking our border.
Hundreds were swarming around our warriors. I launched myself into the fray, grabbing one rogue off the back of a fighter and hurling him into a nearby tree. I didn’t see him rise again.
