When I was finally comfortable enough after sitting in the snow, I went inside and headed upstairs to put on some dry pants.
When I came back downstairs Alpha Gideon was just arriving and he greeted me with a big smile. He was here to take possession of Layla, who I had completely forgotten was down in the dungeon.
