I waited until Axel was asleep that night before I slipped out of bed, grabbed the bag from the apothecary, and took it down to the kitchen. I made tea with the ingredients, which I had to drink before packing them away. I went back up to bed, and I slipped into bed without Axel knowing that I was gone.
