"I never expected to see you again," he says bitterly. "I thought you'd be dead by now," I reply. "Isn't that what you wanted?" he asks, avoiding my gaze. "I told you not to come and that I would tell them where you were. When was the last time you ate?" I ask, genuinely concerned. "I don’t know. How long have I been here?" he replies, uncertainty in his voice. Suddenly, a voice echoes from the entrance. I glance over as Atticus jumps. "What are you doing here?"
