I made my way back to the pack, with my mind set on graduating from high school, even though I wasn’t quite ready to forgive my mother. My stubbornness kept me from reaching out to her, so I needed a place to stay for the time being. She had hurt me too deeply, and I didn’t really have anywhere else to go.
