"Don't give me that look." Brynjar said to his brother.
"You know what that look is for my dear, younger brother." Destin said. "You get to console your wife through hard times and yet, I can't even get near her?"
"That's not what I was implying. Eira needed me close to her and she was able to push with me by her side. Now, could I say the same for Lacresha? I'm not sure."
Destin shook his head at his brother, then he turned his attention down the hall. Sigurd came up to the two, moments later, in deep thought.
"Where are you coming from?" Brynjar asked him.
"Just put Elijah down for his nap." Sigurd said, standing next to the two. "What's going on here?"
"Brynjar thinks it's a sin to comfort Lacresha during labor."
"I didn't say that." Brynjar sighed.
"Well, I didnt get to comfort my wife when she was delivering Elijah. What do you think will happen if you were by her side, holding her?"
Destin sighed before he shrugged his shoulders at the question.
"If you want to comfort her than go ahead." Brynjar gave in. "But, it'll make her look weak in the long run."
Destin ignored Brynjar's warning and walked back inside the room. Before he was able to have words with Sigurd, Hildun walked up to them.
Did she have it yet?" He asked them.
"No, she's still pushing." Sigurd said. "Where have you been at?"
"Around." Hildun said and walked past the two.
As he walked into the room, Brynjar recognized something. Even his dragon noticed it. He glanced over at Sigurd, who stood there as well, staring at the door.
"You smell it, too?" Brynjar asked his older brother.
"Yeah, I do." Sigurd said. "Hildun is messing things up. You already know how his father feels about that."
Brynjar shook his head about the situation. He was going to stay quiet about the whole thing until he got Hildun by himself. Brynjar and Sigurd walked back into the room. Destin was by his woman's side, trying to console her dring the labor process.
"What are you going to say to him?" Sigurd asked him.
"We're all going to speak to him." Brynjar said. "I can't stand to be in the room with him alone."
Sigurd chuckkled before he turned his attention to Leora, who was with the other Wiccans. She smiled at him and he just nodded before he turned his attention back to Brynjar. Leora sighed before she glanced at Eira on the other side of the bed. She wanted to tell her sister about it, but then she thought about it. Maybe she should just handle it herself.
Ceidra moved from behind Ana and headed over to Brynjar and Sigurd. She stood in between them and sighed.
"This family just keeps on growing." She said to the two. "When is your next one, Sigurd?"
Sigurd sighe before he shook his head.
"I'm not married, anymore." Sigurd told her. "So, I guess whenever I do."
"Oh? You're getting married."
Sigurd and Brynjar turned to Ceidra, waiting for her to continue.
"What does he have up his sleeve?" Brynjar asked her.
"Sigurd is to marry Leora in Drangar once we go back."
"Wait, what?" Sigurd asked, getting neervous. "He didn't tell me this."
"Well, he told me." Ceidra said.
Sigurd sighed before he headed over to the door. Before he could even stepp out, the door opened and Bjarke walked in with Gunbrand and Bergvid.
"Did she have the baby yet?" Bergvid asked.
"Not yet." Ana said. "She's almost there."
"Father, I would like a word with you." Sigurd said.
Gunbrand sighed before he turned to his wife. Ceidra rolled her eyes and turned back to the front where Lacresha laid.
"There's nothing to talk about, Sigurd." Gunbrand said as he forced his way inside the room.
"Okay, so why am I just now finding out that I'm to be married soon?"
Everybody glanced at Sigurd, including Leora. She never knew she was to marry Sigurd, either. She got up and walked over to the men.
"When is this?" She asked as soon as she approached.
"Once we get to Drangar." Gunbrand said.
"When were we supposed to be leaving?" Hildun asked.
"Soon after she has the baby. She's going to be coming with us, right Ana?"
"Yes, Destin needs to be with his child. So, we are giving her permission to leave."
Destin turned to his father before he turned to Lacresha, who was still pushing.
"OH MY GOD, GET HIM OUT OF ME!!" She screamed at the top of her lungs.
Destin sighed before he looked back at his brother. It was just like he said. Destin got off the bed and walked back over to his family.
"I can't wait for mother to see him." Destin said to them.
"She'll be ecstatic to see him in your arms." Bergvid said.
"Your mother always wanted a grandchild." Gunbrand said. "So, expect an excited mother once we get home."
"If we're going to be going back, we need to prepare for the boat ride." Brynjar said, then he turned to Leora. "You don't mind traveling with us, do you?"
Leora shook her head before she turned to Sigurd. He didn't say anything nor did he smile. He just sighed and walked off. Brynjar noticed the tension between the two and shook his head. Leora turned to walk off, but Brynjar grabbed her and pulled her back.
"Don't worry; your brother and I will handle him." He told her.
"It hurts that he's acting like this." Leora said. "I'm starting to question whether what I did was right?"
"You did everything right." Dusty said as he joined the group. "Don't ever think that you did something wrong. Sigurd has... Well, he's never experienced that, so he's trying to take it in."
"How long will he mope around for? Just like he wants kids, I do too. I swear... I never been more sexually frustrated ever."
Dusty sighed before he turned to Sigurd, who was leaning against the wall next to the window. Something was bothering him and Dusty knew it was going to take Brynjar and him to get Sigurd back in his right mind. Dusty glanced at Brynjar, who was already thinking the same thing. Torsten, Halvard and Egil all joined the group as well.
"We'll be handling things on our part." Egil said.
"We have to head back to our land as well." Torste said. "Please, let us know when you'll be back this way."
"No, you're all coming too." Brynjar said. You'l be able to see how we do it oveer there."
"I hope you guys can f*****g cook." Torsten joked.
"Ha, they shouuldn't have to." Dusty said. "Leora and Eira are very good cooks."
Brynjar and Sigurd looked at each other before they looked at Leora. She smiled and walked over to Eira. She whispered to Eira and the two glanced at the men's group.
"We'll see when we get back home." Destin said.
"Let's pack up." Brynjar said, then he turned to Destin. "Grab your girl's belongings."
"Will do." Destin said, then he walked off.
All the men stepped out, leaving the women to tend to Lacresha.
