Caris lay on the bed while the ultrasound technician squirted gel on her bare tummy. Malachi was sitting on a rolling stool on the other side of the bed holding her hand and vibrating with excitement. She could truly feel his hands trembling and she considered this might be the most adorable thing she’d ever witnessed.
He kissed her knuckles as the technician said they were about to get started.
