Leaving Lacey, regardless if it’s only for a few hours, has the ability to uproot and demolish me from the inside. The control I thought I had was breaking like a thin glass. My mind is in utter shambles, my instincts are in disarray and my feet almost always wants to head back to her. It’s hard. Harder than anything else I’ve encountered in my life thus far.
