ALLISON. The next morning, I was lounging in the living room, my feet propped up on the coffee table while Wesley sat across from me. He leaned back casually, his arm stretched across the couch like he owned the place. “You know,” Wesley said, his eyes twinkling as he glanced out the window, “there’s a lunar eclipse tonight.” I raised an eyebrow, intrigued. “A lunar eclipse? Really?” Wesley nodded, his expression lighting up. “Yup. Haven’t seen one in a while, have you?” “Not since I was a kid,” I admitted, my hand absentmindedly resting on my belly. “That’s… kind of exciting. I should watch it.” “You should,” Wesley said, leaning forward with a grin. His hand brushed against mine as he gently stroked my belly. “You know, my mom gave birth to me during a lunar eclipse. True story.”
