Luke came in again to check on them.
“What are you smiling about?”
Matt turned towards him and straightened his expression. “Nothing.”
“Uh huh.” He looked at the bed where his sister is hiding. He could guess what happened.
“Well, if she doesn’t recover her memories, you can simply make her fall in love with you again. Doesn’t look like it’s going to be hard.”
Matt’s expression turned grim. “Don’t say that. It’s best if she recovers well.”
Angela could hear them under the blanket.
“Of course. Did she complain about any pain?”
“No, she didn’t.”
“Alright. If anything happens, alert the nurse on duty. Give me a call as well. I might have to fly home tomorrow. I’m missing my family.”
“Of course. Thank you for your help.”
Angela removed the blanket and thanked him as well.
