Annie’s words lingered on me.
That day, we kept talking about the rumors surrounding Mrs. Carter. And apparently, there are a a lot. I even had to stay even though my shift has ended. Damien was already glaring at me when I sat beside Annie who was rearranging the garden.
There were already a lot of rumors about Mrs. Carter even before. And I wasn’t wrong with my judgement of her. She’s really someone who is trying to seduce their employees. They have their own hotel and resort and it is a not-so secret gossip that she is banging their bellboys. I can’t imagine how Mr. Carter is coping up with all of these! His wife is cheating on him and I wish he’d teach her a lesson.
