I sighed in relief as I pulled up at home. It had been one shitty day. Everything that could go wrong went wrong and I was stressed out. I had only been back a week cause took some time off to be with my little girl and my beautiful wife, wish I took longer off. I wish I let someone else deal with all this crap for once. I took a few deep breaths, not wanting to be this way when I get home. I wanna leave that at work. I know my entire mood would change anyway when I see Nova and Sofia.
I headed inside, looking around for them but they were nowhere in sight. I never wanted to call out in case Sofia was down for a nap. Instead, I started looking around, finding them in the last place I checked, mine and Nova’s bedroom. She and Sofia were in bed sound asleep. I automatical
