Beth’s P.O.V.
Noah’s phone call led us to extreme worry for Steph. She complained about having pain in her leg but we assumed that I should be due to the constant use. She had to take full rest for at least 2 weeks. Due to Mr MacField’s accident, she was constantly walking and sat down for long hours in the hospital near to him.
“I hope that everything is fine with her”, Jenny said to me in a worried tone and I hummed.
“I told her… I told her not to exhaust herself… but… being stubborn… she never listened to anyone… see … what she has gotten into”, I put my hand on her shoulder and felt the tension in her body. She was extremely upset with Steph and was so much worried about her. I was driving my car towards the hospital and she was sitting with me on the passenger seat.
