Electra closed her eyes when she recognized the voice. Then she felt a presence behind her, as Alonzo stood up to welcome them. Electra stood up as well and saw Nikolai with an American woman that she recognized from the reports before. The actress turned producer Anna Delancy.
“Signore De Rossi, what a pleasant surprise, seeing you here.” Alonzo greeted Nikolai with a curt nod.
“Alonzo Tarantino, a surprise indeed.” Nikolai spoke through his gritted teeth, and then his eyes turned towards Electra.
“Alonzo, darling.”
They all turned towards Anna who was smiling sweetly.
“Signorina Delancy.” Alonzo greeted Anna, taking her hand and bringing it to his lips.
“It’s a pleasure seeing you again.” He said.
“Likewise. I see you are on a date.” Anna sai
