In Greek mythology, the minotaur is the byproduct of Queen Pasiphaë of Crete and the snow-white bull her husband was supposed to slaughter in praise of Poseidon. King Minos was a foolish man who thought himself better than the gods. But instead of being punished, the gods unfairly drove his wife into madness and sealed her fate by giving birth to a monster so foul, that they had to create a large maze to contain the beast for fear of him slaughtering the city.
That's the story at least.
But, as I walked down the dark alleyways away from Club Tartarus, I found myself being watched.
