Ruby POV
“Where’s Ezra?” I scanned all of their worried faces and my heart started to race. Did something happen to him? Is he alright? Panic consumed me as I suddenly thought about that beast that was on top of him. Did he manage to fight him off?
“He’s in Logan and Alina’s living room. He had to be confined, he’s close to losing his humanity,” Darius spoke first and quickly. My eyes widened at his words.
“I have to go to him,” I said to my parents and my dad wrapped his arm around my mum’s shoulder and smiled at me.
“Go,” is all he said.
After resurrecting myself, I didn’t have enough magical energy to even transport myself to the top floor of the pack house. I would have to rely on my vampire speed to get me there.
