Niko POV
My mother gives me an innocent nod and walks back out into the corridor. I stand to follow her and hesitate when I realised I was going to have to brush past Calli in order to join her.
She looks up at me with expectant eyes and I know she isn’t going to make this easy for me. I take a deep breath which only makes things worse as her delicious scent causes parts of me to stir and squeeze passed her.
“Excuse me,” I mumble painfully, and she smiles coyly as the sparks from my chest brushing against her arm erupt when our bodies touch.
