Rose's P.O.V.
Fifteen minutes passed by as I was sitting here on this hill. Coming here after two years was like a dream to me. This was why I left the palace today, not to go to the Shine Moon Pack and be stuck with nobles, princes, princesses, Alpha’s, and Luna’s. All of that was just a pain in the ass. Going to the festival was an excuse, so that I could leave the palace without a bodyguard, but I had no idea that Emmett would send Rex with me.
I had a great view of nature all around me. I was surrounded by the hills, waterfall, and this dense forest. It was my good fortune to be able to come here after two years. I had both good and bad memories attached to this place, which were all flowing through my mind, and it wasn’t helping that I could feel Rex standing a distance behind me.
