Rex's P.O.V.
Our car had finally returned to the territory of the Royal Pack and the Alpha Prince's car was in front of me. I loved the feeling of being alone with Rose for hours like this, even though she didn’t seem too thrilled about it and wasn’t talking to me. I was able to hear her heartbeat quicken as it always did in my presence. She was hiding her face from me by using her hair as a sort of veil as she wasn’t wearing the hairpin that she always wore. Her lovely fragrance filled the car, but as soon as we arrived at the palace I knew that she would leave me and take her beautiful fragrance with her. I wish this journey would never end, but at the same time my blood was boiling because of that precious diamond hair pin in her hands.
