Rolling down the car windows, I let the cold air rush in. I rested my head against the car seat, and I closed my eyes as I tried not to think about the Opal Moon Pack at all or the fact that I’d have to go back. My beta showed up, looking for me. I didn’t want to go back to my pack, so I decided to stay with my friend at his pack. He had just become an Alpha a few days ago. When my beta found me, he told me that mom had created a ruckus in my absence and so dad sent my beta to bring me back. Just like the Shine Moon Pack, Marvin's pack had meetings and special festivals for Alpha’s and Luna’s that were mandatory to attend. My mind was bursting with anger because I didn’t want to go back but I was obliged to obey my Alpha's orders. The word ‘Alpha’ was killing me
